Olive Oil & Mostocotto
Made in Italy Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Mostocotto.
The so-called “green gold” is certainly one of the most renowned products of our country. So, a few years after the foundation of Teanum winery, we embarked on a second adventure, purchasing an oil mill to create Filo d’Olio and Denocciolato. The first, true and authentic, is an oil product designed for those who love strong tastes. On the contrary, the second is soft and delicate, ideal for the most demanding palates.
Mostocotto is a slow reduction of fresh grape must, from which we get a syrupy and sweet consistency. Rich in antioxidant polyphenols that are beneficial for health, our Mostocotto is perfect with Apulian desserts, such as mustazzoli and Christmas cartellate, but also to accompany dry cheeses. And we don’t see why not experiment in the kitchen, giving life to delicious savory dishes!

Olive Oil
What makes our two oil products so different? The milling method! The olives destined for Filo d’Olio follow the traditional cold system, in a continuous cycle, while those of Denocciolato are pitted after being washed.
Mostocotto
Mostocotto is obtained from the pressing of very ripe red grapes with a high sugar value, which are boiled over low heat for several hours. The result is a dark purple product with a viscosity comparable to that of balsamic vinegar.
